Nachos


1 lb. ground beef or chicken

taco seasoning pkg.

tortilla chips

mixed cheese

lettuce, shredded

tomato, chopped

salsa

sour cream



If using ground beef, brown ground beef and drain.  Add taco seasoning, 1/3 cup of water and simmer for 3 minutes.  If using chicken, slice the chicken into thin strips and sauté in a skillet with a little oil until no longer pink.  Add taco seasoning pkg, water and simmer.



Put a layer of chips on a platter, top with meat and cover with cheese.  Put the dish in the microwave for about 1 minute to melt cheese.  Top with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and a side of salsa.
